Our Houston Area Legal Team
Our hearts are not only with the people of Houston for their losses during the flooding, we are here, right alongside you. We realize that, as we work to rebuild our city, our legal battles are still very real, even though nothing is operating as it should at the moment. It is a very serious shock to all of the sudden have our legal remedies limited because, in the disaster, all personnel normally set aside to enforce the rules are reassigned to other tasks. Our legal team has experience working both in and out of courtrooms in Dallas, Harris, Montgomery and Bell Counties, with both corporate and individual clients. We specialize in landlord & tenant civil litigation, probate, and wills & estate planning. We handle limited family matters, but focus on property law, and property-based disputes, and guardianship matters.
You can always count on us to take the time necessary to clearly explain your case's procedures and status so that you are up to date on every development at all times. We utilize technology to make meeting with us easier, implementing video calls, and client portals with on-demand chat, as well as the ability to see what’s happening on your case at all times and to receive email updates. We understand that legal issues arise unplanned, and it can be difficult to move around your schedule to fit legal help in, so we make it as seamless as possible. The sooner you have an attorney on your side, the easier it is to build a strong case and come to a successful resolution.
Put simply, my job is to protect you from potential risk. Whether from those who would otherwise take advantage of your legal rights, or to make sure you and your family have what you need to be taken care of, should anything ever happen to you or your mental or physical capacity to do so. I’m also certified through the state bar of Texas for guardianship and ad litem work, and enjoy working with families to design the right plan for their family members and friends in need.
My interest in the law sparked with my own landlord failing to make repairs in my college apartment. I went without an A/C unit for three weeks in the middle of August, in Texas! and it was upwards of 116 degrees inside of my apartment! An attorney helped me back then, and my A/C was replaced the same day I delivered her letter to my landlord. From that point on I have been passionate about fighting for the rights of other people like me. I was born and raised in the Houston area, and sincerely enjoy servicing this community.
Another passion of mine since becoming licensed is helping others plan for their future. I’ve always been a planner myself, and now I have the privilege of sharing my skills with others looking to ensure their family’s future. You work hard to provide for yourself and your family, and it’s important to know that you can protect the life you have created, both by defending it now, and planning for your estate after you pass away, or become disabled. I sincerely want to help you navigate all of life’s events, whether they were foreseen, or are a complete surprise.
I am an estate and business planning attorney, as well as a civil litigator. I dedicate all of my attention to ensuring that:
- your goals are realized, whether they are personal, family or business related;
- your risk and expenses are minimized;
- your access to legal help is convenient, leveraging technology to make meeting easier; and,
- you have peace of mind.
All of my clients receive personal attention, 24/7 access to case information and updates, clear communication, and timely assistance. While case outcomes cannot be predetermined by any attorney, my clients will attest to their complete satisfaction with my legal services, and excellent work-product for estate planning. The thing I hear most often is that my clients appreciate that I truly listen, and am a source of positive motivation to help them take the next step in achieving their current and future goals.
